This November 29th is #givingtuesday - a global movement that started with a hashtag! It's incredible to reflect on the power behind a simple hashtag, and how it sparked a wave of generosity and gratitude that carries on each year.
Here at Chilly Moose, it's always been part of our mission to leave the world a better place than how we found it. Our love of protected Parks and easy access to clean water fuels our desire to fiercely protect them all. Efforts to stop the cycle of plastic pollution was one of the driving forces behind starting the company.
We are committed to teaching our children responsible living, as well as leaving them a planet with clean, fresh water and protected untouched environments. Chilly Moose is honoured to partner with long-standing Canadian organizations such as Ontario Parks and Scouts Canada to help continue their efforts in protecting important Canadian eco-systems and educating future generations.
So on this #givingtuesday, we'd like to share our special collaborations, and show you how you can help reduce your impact on our fragile planet.
Ontario Parks - Turtle Protection Program
Chilly Moose is proud to be a continued partner with Ontario Parks to help support their Turtle Protection Project through the sale of Limited Edition Chilly Moose x Ontario Parks co-branded Turtle products! This special conservation initiative is dedicated to creating on-the-ground solutions - like nest coverings and wildlife crossings - as well as important research and education projects to protect vulnerable turtle species across Ontario Parks.
The success of this program has exceeded all our expectations, and in 2021 Ontario Parks saw a significant reduction in the number of turtle deaths, and a significant increase in the number of hatchlings!

Scouts Canada - No One Left Behind & Scouts for Sustainability
Scouts Canada is the country's leading co-ed youth organization focused on empowering Canadian children and youth to grow their skills, engage in their communities and explore their love of outdoor adventure. Our program with Scouts Canada launched in early 2022 with two special initiatives: the Scouts Canada Killarney Tumbler and a sponsorship for Scouts for Sustainability.
Together with the Scouts team, we developed a Special Edition Scouts Canada Killarney Tumbler in support of their No One Left Behind Program. The "NOLB" program subsidizes Scouting membership fees and related costs for Canadian youth facing economic barriers, no one is left behind from their Scouting adventure. Chilly Moose is a proud sponsor and prize provider for Scouts for Sustainability. This unique Scouting program is aligned with the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and empowers Canadian youth to take their environmental efforts to the next level right in their own communities.
