Glacière froide 55L

bought this cooler to use for a atv trip where we were outside everyday for a week. used ice packs to get the cooler cold during the 3 days leading up to the trip. the ice melted everyday, had to get ice everyday to refill the cooler. the drinks became cold from sitting in the cold water but there was no ice left at the end of each day.
side coating isn't as durable as I thought it would be has a wear mark down the side from riding against a tote. had higher hopes going into the expense of buying a cooler with this price tag.

Love the colour but I purchased it to hold the cold and keep things frozen.

Everything was thawed by end of day, and the ice lasted 3 days. Cooler is still better then my other ones, but will need to play around with the ice ratio in hopes to keep more things frozen/cold and limit the amount of water at the bottom of the cooler.

Chilly Moose products are the best coolers and drinkware I have ever used! Hands down they are a Leg up ( pun intended ) on the competition. Whether I am at the race track or a family camping trip, all my Chilly Moose gear is with me and trust it to keep my food and beverages cold! Ice lasts forever! And our portable car fridge/freezer is amazing! Cools down quickly and the fridge side keep cool and the freezer side keeps frozen!... even in the direct sunlight! In August!

Amazing cooler. Only thing I didn't like is the rubber bottoms keep popping out.

I like the cooler very well and so does the dog on a hot day but disappointed all 4 rubber feet have come out already after using it for the weekend

Nothing but good things to say about this cooler! We packed it with block ice along the bottom put our food in it and 5 days after a very hot holiday ( and even leaving the cooler in the car some
days ) we still hade ice in the bottoms when we got home! Way way better than other coolers we have owned! Love that it’s Canadian and awesome!

Love ALL my chilly moose products. Every day I have my coffee and water. Then at night I reach into my cooler grab a cold beer and put it in the Brent. Not only do I love theses products. The customer service is the best. They have help out in several way! This company knows what their doing and what they stand for! Great work chilly moose!

I first used this cooler on a week-long camping trip and loved it! Ice lasts days longer than my former cooler. I plan to get another, smaller one, next year to separate drinks from food so the food cooler is opened less often and the ice lasts even longer. Supprt Canadian!

I got it because we often lose power for days at a time in the Winter. So it is the sit on the covered porch cooler that takes the overload of fresh veggies in the Summer and the Winter cooler that gets packed with ice at the approach of a big Wind Storm. I am very glad I have a well made Canadian cooler option.

Very good product and especially because its from a Canadian company. I've been a camper a whole lot of years (I'm old) and this has to be the biggest splurge, but I'm at the age where quality is feasible and desired. I particularly like the option of being able to lock it with the lock of my choosing not from the herd of humans looking for beverages, but from the other wildlife that don't particularly need my supplies. There are built in holes to secure it. The cooler is reliable and keeps things cold longer. Have you seen the price of ice these days?? As well the colour is great not just because I'm fashionable (I do walk my dog around in PJs in the morning don't judge me) but because it stands out, no more "oh I thought that was my cooler" lines while they are drinking my slightly tasty water drink. Highly recommend. Racoons are not indulging in my beverages just sayin..... The only reason I held back one star is because it is heavy, is that a fault, no. Its just a result of good engineering and what it takes to be great.

So Happy with the purchase of two 55L coolers.
After 5 days my ice bottles are still frozen and meat is cold. Greatest camping upgrade in a while.

Seems to be a nice cooler keeps stuff cool an ice for 4 days for sure but we also opened it a bunch to get drinks out of it well worth the money

Great cooler for our family camping trips.

First time buying a moose. It arrived perfectly just before a big camping trip to northern Ontario. I made some frozen meals and they were still frozen on day 3.
The cup holders are a great add on and I even used the cutting board. Very handy.
It's a very sturdy step stool. I used it every possible way. It even survived several raccoon raids on our camp site.

Great cooler, I may have to buy another one.

I had been looking at this cooler for a while looking forward to putting it to use at the end of August, in the meantime I bought a 25 litre, used it yesterday. Perfect everything got cool then stayed cold. Great Canadian products I use my water bottle every day.

Absolutely phenomenal ice retention and so proud to buy from a Canadian company! I had a bear break into my porch and cause quite a bit of damage knocking over and smashing a number of items. My Chilly Moose cooler got tossed around and stood the test against the bear! Stayed latched shut and still as good as new !!

The 55 Litre cooler is very well-built and designed. Love the divider (though would much prefer it to be a frozen divider rather than a cutting board) to create two sections; one for bottles and cartons of liquids, the other for random meal tubs, frozen meat and the basket (love that too) for more delicate (veg, berries) or small things. The cooler needs a lot of ice and/or frozen things to stay cold, and with a lot, it stayed cold for about 55 hours before we needed more ice. We covered whole cooler in towel and kept in the shade outside in mildly hot temps (25 -28 C). The second round was two bags of ice, one for each section and this melted quicker, which was a bit disappointing but understandable. If Chilly Moose came up with a frozen divider, this might extend the initial chill time. But if you use this cooler for a weekend, you won’t need to refresh the ice, which is definitely an improvement over other coolers. Still happy with it!
